About Ranmasu Uyana (Royal Park)

Ranmasu Uyana is an ancient royal garden located near Tissa Wewa in Anuradhapura, believed to have been used by the kings of the Anuradhapura Kingdom for leisure and relaxation. The garden features beautifully carved stone structures, bathing ponds, and the mysterious “Sakwala Chakraya,” an ancient circular carving often linked to astronomical symbolism.
