Crocodile Rock
About Crocodile Rock
Crocodile Rock is a unique coastal rock formation south of Arugam Bay, named for its resemblance to a crocodile resting by the sea. It is a peaceful location offering beautiful ocean views and occasional wildlife sightings.
The rock resembles the shape of a crocodile emerging from the coastline.
Far less crowded than Arugam Bay’s main beach areas.
The surrounding wetlands attract a variety of coastal birds.
Climbing the rock provides scenic views along the eastern coastline.
