Sacred Mihintale Rock Summit is the highest point of the Mihintale sacred complex and one of the most spiritually significant viewpoints in Sri Lanka. After climbing a series of ancient stone steps, visitors reach the summit where Arahat Mahinda is believed to have first met King Devanampiya Tissa, marking the introduction of Buddhism to the island.
